"The Orphans and the Balloons""

Last Night I my Husband and I attended a Benefit for the " LaFortuna Orphanage" in "Costa Rica". We have lived in LaFortuna for almost 2 years now, and since becoming involved with "Community Causes" though " Desafio Adventure and Tour Company" www.desafiocostarica.com/  We had the pleasure of meeting the Owners , "Suresh and Christine Krishnan", when they sponsored the Community Easter Egg Hunt.

This event was co sponsored by the Rein Community Service http://www.reincommunityservice.com/project-costa-rica/volunteer-la-fortuna.php who had an American Singer " Todd Schaeffer" perform along with Local Artists.

"This little Boy stole my Heart"

I did not know the effect seeing 15 Orphans entering the building would have on me, I felt so terribly sad that these Children ranging in age from 2 years to 13 years or so, do not have families to call their own.

 

" A Little Girl Orphaned"

 If it were up to me and I was not the age I am one of these Kids would have a Home.
