The "Ocelot" a Wild Animal found in the "Rainforests of Central America". Known as the "Cat of the Mountain here in "Costa Rica". The Ocelot is second biggest of the "Spotted Cats" in the "Neo-Tropics".
This "Jungle Landscape Painting" depicts a "Hunting Scene" of the "Ocelot hunting on the Rainforest River Banks". With Lush Foliage and a very uncommon "Animal Species", I have seen one once in the early dawn at the edge of the Rainforest Jungle by "Volcano Arenal".
This Landscape Painting is one of the "Rainforest Series", this Painting measure 24" High x 18" wide. Painted in an acrylic wash technique with a light varnish overlay, to enhance and protect the "colorful greens of the jungle".
I paint Jungle and Rainforest Landscapes with emphasis on the "Animal Species" that need a "Protected Habitat". I was lucky enough to purchase a Home in Costa Rica after relocating from Florida, that is yards from the "Protected Rainforest at the base of Arenal Volcano.
Arenal Volcano is one of the "Top Tourist Desintations" for those wishing to have a Great Adventure with Nature.
