I just saw the United States is in a "Heat Wave". I am thankful after 30 years in the United States, that after my Retirement I found LaFortuna Costa Rica "Home to Areanal Volcano". Being in the Central Valley I am surrounded by Mountain Ranges formed by extinct Volcanic Activity, The Landscapes that surround me along with my Volcano View and temperatures daily in the mid 80's and at night mid 70's.

My Husband Painted many "Rainforest Paintings" he surprised me today by Framing them this Morning in Costa Rica Wood called "Laurel". Both Paintings are done in an Acrylic Wash Teqnique with a light varnish overcoat to bring out the Brilliant Colors of the "Rainforests".

Horses here in Costa Rica are a way of Life. Tourists flocking to Costa Rica, especially Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna, Costa Rica enjoy Horseback Rides through the Rainforests, and to the Waterfalls.   Horses and Cowboys are always having endless parades in the Towns which we call Horse Festivals.
