I live next to "Arenal Volcano" the number on "Tourist" destination in Costa Rica. Just minutes from the Waterfalls, Volcano, Lake for Fishing, and surrounded by "Rain Forest Jungles". I literally can walk to the "Protected Rainforest just 300 Yards from my Home.  

Be that as it may, I see the turmoil in the "United States" and thought I might bring a little color to enlighten your day.

If you are ever on "Vacation" or considering the ultimate in "Wildlife" Vacation, this part of Costa Rica has it all.  The Television show "Love in the Wild" on NBC was filmed right here around "Volcano Arenal".

Having Traveled to Ireland and arriving home to Florida, I only remembered how "Green" the Country was. Upon Retirement we chose "LaFortuna, Costa Rica". LaFortuna, one of the Top Tourist Desintations and home to "Arenal Volcano". Tourist enjoy the Green of the Rainforests while Zip Lining from Canopy to Canopy, or White Water Rafting with Green Towering Trees lining the River Banks.
Even Toucan like the Painting of the "Keel Billed Toucan" have light Green Bills.

About 300 yards to the "Rainforest River" which runs in between Secondary Growth Rainforest. The River runs off of "Arenal Volcano" the top Tourist vacation destination in "Costa Rica.

Weather is Great in LaFortuna, Costa Rica

The United States I see is in a "Heat Wave". After Living in Albany, New York who's temperatures in the the High 90's today, and living in Cocoa, Florida who is also in the Upper 90's, I feel grateful that it is 9 in the Morning and I am looking at "Arenal Volcano" as my front View and the Temperatures are mid 70's. I retired from the Medical Profession after 30 years in Practice in Cocoa, Florida. After numeous trips to Costa Rica, we decided the the "LaFortuna" area home to "Arenal Volcano" and top Tourist Resorts would make a Perfect New Home. We lucked in and found a Beautiful Log Chalet just yards from the Rainforest with unobstructed Views of the Volcano and Rainforests. Here are a few Photographs for you. I now spend my retirement Painting and Photographing the Birds and Wildlife around me.
