Living with a Volcano View allows for the ever changing "Shades of Green" and the Colors reflected on the "Volcano" by the "Clouds and Sun".

Since retirement I left the "United States" and hot and humid "Florida" and found myself in a Rustic Cabin 6 months old when I bought it furnished for 105K 2 years ago. I have a Volcano View, 10 minutes from the Top "Tourist Destination" in Costa Rica.

With Rainforests and the Volcano and the perfect climate mid 80's as the high with no Humidity, and mid 70's at night, I have found Paradise.

I now Paint as a Hobby and Photograph Wildlife, Jungle, Rainforest, Landscapes.

Being in the Central Valley I am surrounded by Mountain Ranges formed by extinct Volcanic Activity, The Landscapes that surround me along with my Volcano View and temperatures daily in the mid 80's and at night mid 70's.

Rainforest Jungle Art             

" Jungle Rainforests of Costa Rica"

The "Rainforest Jungles of Costa Rica" one of Nature's finest sights. Since Retirement from the United States, I relocated to a House at the base of " Arenal Volcano".

With the Rainforest at my Front Door, the "Rainforest is just at the base of " Arenal Volcano" just yards from my Home. From Florida, to a "Rainforest" it is spectacular. Now, I spend my time, "Painting and Photographing the Animals in the Rainforest.

The Tropical Birds such as the MotMot above are very rare and I captured one in a photo just steps into the Rainforest. The Pair of Great Green Macaws is Painted in order to promote the Reintroduction of a "Birding Species" that is slowly dwindling due to deforestation. Weather is Great in LaFortuna, Costa Rica

The United States I see is in a "Heat Wave". After Living in Albany, New York who's temperatures in the the High 90's today, and living in Cocoa, Florida who is also in the Upper 90's, I feel grateful that it is 9 in the Morning and I am looking at "Arenal Volcano" as my front View and the Temperatures are mid 70's. I retired from the Medical Profession after 30 years in Practice in Cocoa, Florida. After numeous trips to Costa Rica, we decided the the "LaFortuna" area home to "Arenal Volcano" and top Tourist Resorts would make a Perfect New Home. We lucked in and found a Beautiful Log Chalet just yards from the Rainforest with unobstructed Views of the Volcano and Rainforests. Here are a few Photographs for you. I now spend my retirement Painting and Photographing the Birds and Wildlife around me. From the Palm Trees of Florida, to a Volcano as my View. Never did I imagine, after Retirement in Florida, that I would find the Perfect Home in this "Real Estate" Market with the Perfect View.

After the Taxes in Florida and now my Entire Taxes are $400.00 a year. I live 10 Minutes from "LaFortuna" one of the Top Tourist Destinations in Costa Rica. No one beleives that I am Happy here in Costa Rica. With the Rainforest just steps from my Front Door, and Wildlife all around me, I am very at ease with my life. I thought for those Tourists that come to the Resorts that surround me and Enjoy the Hot Springs, Zip Lines through the Rainforest, Hanging Bridges, Waterfalls and the Worlds Best Fishing on Lake Arenal that I would share a few "Volcano" Images.
