Costa Rica well known for it's Wildlife, Volcanoes, and Beautiful Beaches. This small Country is one of the "Top Tourist" destinations in the World.  Since Retirement in the United States, I settled into a 6 month old, Log Chalet fully furnished at the Base of "Arenal Volcano".

Lucky enough to have escaped the "Real Estate" crash in the "United States", for my wife was a Realtor and I a retired Doctor. We left a Historic Home in a Small Riverside enclave in Cocoa, Florida.

Well we found, a great neighborhood, and a Home with nothing between us and the Volcano but the Rainforest. I thought I would share with those who have never been on "vacation" to "Costa Rica" the wonders found inside this "Protected Land".

My Husband Painted many "Rainforest Paintings" he surprised me today by Framing them this Morning in Costa Rica Wood called "Laurel". Both Paintings are done in an Acrylic Wash Teqnique with a light varnish overcoat to bring out the Brilliant Colors of the "Rainforests".

Weather is Great in LaFortuna, Costa Rica

The United States I see is in a "Heat Wave". After Living in Albany, New York who's temperatures in the the High 90's today, and living in Cocoa, Florida who is also in the Upper 90's, I feel grateful that it is 9 in the Morning and I am looking at "Arenal Volcano" as my front View and the Temperatures are mid 70's. I retired from the Medical Profession after 30 years in Practice in Cocoa, Florida. After numeous trips to Costa Rica, we decided the the "LaFortuna" area home to "Arenal Volcano" and top Tourist Resorts would make a Perfect New Home. We lucked in and found a Beautiful Log Chalet just yards from the Rainforest with unobstructed Views of the Volcano and Rainforests. Here are a few Photographs for you. I now spend my retirement Painting and Photographing the Birds and Wildlife around me. Volcano Arenal from My Front Porch

Living in La Fortuna, Costa Rica by Arenal Volcano, I met John in Town while he was escorting Tourists to their Resort in LaFortuna. A Trip with John is not boring it is an "Adventure", he will provide you with your choice or music or bring your own, He will show you sites along the way, and even stop if you care to Zip Line through the Rain and Cloud Forest on your way to La Fortuna. I traveled with John last week when I returned from New York, even though I live here since relocating from Florida, he showed me sites I have never seen. So "Travel at your Own Pace" and Stop by and see our House and Paintings while Visiting the Hot Springs, Zip Lines through the Rainforests, or enjoying the abundance of Wildlife at our Front Door.

From the United States To Paradise

Since Relocating to" Costa Rica" 2 years ago, I had not been back to the Albany," New York" Area in 5 years. I was dismayed at the Cost of everything in New York. I did get to spend time with Family and Old Friends. Upon return to Costa Rica, I used a private Transfer ServicePrivate Transfer Service for Tourists
