"Costa Rica" famous for Volcanoes and lush Rainforests that are Natural Wonders which are always Entertaining.  This afternoon, after a Light Rain Shower the Volcano was Breathtaking. The Volcano was covered at it's Peak with Layers of Clouds which reflected different colors....I call this " A Volcano Halo"

Living on the South Side of the Volcano with the Rainforest at the Base of the Volcano, allow for Rainforest Wildlife to be seen from Our Home daily.   Since relocating from Florida, I do not miss the "United States", for I have Endless Entertainment with the endless changes of Nature.   I support the "Protected Rainforest of the World", for I live next to one in "Costa Rica"... 10% of all proceeds from Sales of my Art be it Photographs or Paintings shall be donated to the "Rainforest Alliance". Volcano Arenal in Costa Rica

          Volcano Arenal located in LaFortuna,Costa Rica has been quiet lately. In the Months of July through December, the Volcano was  very active. Here are some phots of the Volcanic Eruption, showing ash clouds as the Lava flowed at night it was diffulculy to capture on camera.
Volcano Arenal is the number one tourist destination in Costa Rica. You may hike up the extinct Volcano of Cerro Chato, the hike takes about 2 hours along the way you will see Wildlife found within the Rainforest. There is a beutiful Lake where hikers stop and have lunch overserving the Toucans,Parrots and the beauty of the Emerald Green Rainforest.
Since moving to Costa Rica 1 year ago, we have throughly enjoyed our home at the edge of the Rainforest, and our daily sightings of all kinds of Wildlife.
My husband a self taught artist, decided the Wildlife were so beautiful with the many colors of birds such as Toucans, Parrots and seed eaters, that he must paint them. His paintings can be found at :
